They’ve a big, heavy, and fruity spirit that’s just as expressive and unique as Imperial once was.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe purchased the Dalmunach whisky from bourbon cask and filled a Miguel Martin sherry butt with that spirit more than 5 years ago. The result is a deeply rich and flavorful sherried Speysider with notes of stewed apricots, quince jam, red licorice, coffee, and cloves. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe bottled only 164 bottles from this sherry butt, leaving the remainder of the liquid to continue maturing in that fine sherry butt.
