Tasting Notes

NOSE: A beguiling warmth on the nose with very pleasing toasted oak (hints of toasted coconut, toasted hazelnuts, and vanilla bean), a delicate, candy fruitiness builds (Red Vines and old school wax candy lips) before notes of freshly harvested hay peek in around the edges. 

PALATE: Such a chewy whisky! More toasted oak on the palate with a warm fruitiness (cobblers and crumbles with pears, apples, and peaches come to mind) and abundant granola notes (honey, toasted oats, toasted hazelnuts, and, yes, more toasted coconut!).

FINISH: Lingering warmth with a complex sweetness (brown butter, brown sugar, and warm honey) that’s balanced by soft ground ginger and a hint of coriander seed.
