Tasting Notes

NOSE: Lovely warm fruit on the nose (raspberry jam, stewed prunes) with pronounced nose texture, freshly oiled leather (baseball gloves), pickled walnuts, sticky toffee pudding, and, surprisingly, a top note of cotton candy .

PALATE: Mouthcoating with abundant warm, rich notes of strong espresso, Black Forest gateaux (“cake”), rum soaked raisins, molasses, and Panuche fudge but look for pops of dried apricot amongst the heavier elements.

FINISH: Long and lasting, warm and comforting, with lingering notes of dark chocolate torte, espresso, and more Panuche fudge.
