Tasting Notes

NOSE: Bright and fruity with light cereal at first sniff: lemon pinwheels, powdered sugar, quince, almond croissants, lemon curd smeared on wholewheat toast, and white pepper before notes of Pear Drops and cherry lip balm appear

PALATE: Creamy mouthfeel with more white pepper and lemon curd. The cereal is becoming a little heavier with the maltiness coming to the fore. The oak presents itself as ginger powder and ground turmeric.

FINISH: Pleasingly complex and even a little drying with lingering white pepper, lasting malt, and the final echoes of quince
