Longmorn is know for having this sort of creamy, weighty, and fruit-forward style of spirit. A proper heavy Speysider. This is all of that but, at 64.1% ABV, it's also got its boxing gloves on!

Despite the higher strength, or perhaps because of it, the texture is quite round, and the flavors are full on. Add a dash of water and the flavors explode further!

This is a rich and nutty Longmorn that will have you coming back for more. It's too bad there were only 125 bottles from this cask because... wow. It's a banger of bottle!

Tasting Notes

NOSE: A complex, multifaceted nose that perfectly balances hefty malt, warm nuttiness, and  robust wood spice (notes of oatcakes, toasted hazelnuts, sandalwood, and lightly roasted coffee beans become clear in time).

PALATE: A luxurious mouthcoating entry that represents the classic distillery style and fulfills on what the nose promises (look for more hefty malt, more roasted coffee beans, cigar wrappers, cedar humidors, and brandied cherries).

FINISH: Long and luxuriant with a pleasing pepperiness, lingering malt, and hint of warm honey.
