Tasting Notes

NOSE: A fascinating example from this classic distillery: woody (pencil shavings, cedar cigar boxes, freshly cut Tamboti (aka African cocobolo)) and nutty (hazelnut skins, candied walnuts) with freshly crushed cloves, orange oil, and melting milk chocolate.

PALATE: Mouth coating texture that leads with spiced fruit cake (cloves, all-spice, ginger, candied orange peels, dried cherries) before delivering key lime brightness, nougat, marzipan, toasted almonds, petrichor, and cedar.

FINISH: A warm, long lasting finish is peppery with almond skins, fresh espresso, and Amaretti cookies.
