Known for its rich, waxy texture and big fruity flavors, you can understand why! Surely a classic example from this cherished Highland distillery. Vanilla custard sweetness, orange marmalade tartness, and a peppery, waxy finish. Delightful!

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Pleasant sweetness with confectioner’s sugar, pear drops, and starfruit. The grain component is bright and fresh as if the barley just came from the steep. Hints of custard and vanilla exist around the edges of the glass.

PALATE: Rich and unctuous with a welcome waxiness (as you’d expect!), notes of warm grain, rhubarb & custard hard candies, orange marmalade, and a very gentle ground grey pepperiness as it transitions towards the finish.

FINISH: Lingering pepperiness with hazelnut skins, granola, and warm brown sugar…with a lovely waxiness on the tongue.
