Tasting Notes

NOSE: Beeswax polish on old leather boots, manuka honey, summer hay. It’s a sweet but savoury haven which draws you in.

PALATE: Tingly! There’s crystallised ginger, dark bitter chocolate coated shortbread (Island Bakery chocolate gingers for sure!) A little whisper of charcoal woods and demarera sugar.

FINISH: Where does that lovely honeyed smoke come from? We’re into it though! Smokey glazed pecans leave you wanting more.

Description

GlenDronach is a distillery which is widely renown for its rich and sherried malts. With a relatively small output of approximately 1 million litres per year, it isn't often you'll find it with an independent bottler's label so we're delighted to present this one to you! Watch out for the intriguing whisper of smoke here as well!
