Tasting Notes

NOSE: Toffee coated roasted hazelnuts, a little chewy leather but this whisky is spritely, don’t get too comfy in the warming nose of the sherry!

PALATE: The palate opens with zippy red berries, there’s red currents, tart cherries, even some pink grapefruit.

FINISH: We finish with a tingly yet sumptuous chocolate mousse with a twist of orange on the top. There’s a warming glow from the final kick!

A zingy and lively Speysider! This malt hails from the Knockdhu distillery, located in Knock, Aberdeenshire. We love the fruity distillery character and think it has a lovely rich texture thanks to a long period in a PX sherry cask.
